Uncomfortably Numb

This is the final painting from my four piece series “All or Nothing” representing the pattern of my mental health. This piece expresses the claustrophobic feeling of overstimulation and the subsequent numbness that follows the breakdown depicted in the three prior works. As an autistic person it’s hard to be so hyper aware of everything you feel emotionally and physically, feeling too much and too little simultaneouly can be debilitating.
